No. 3 Reading Room & Photo Book Works is an artist-run space founded and operated by Paulette Myers-Rich as an extension of her book arts studio, Traffic Street Press. Located in a Main Street storefront in Beacon, NY, it features select artists’ books, works on paper, photobooks and poetry from small, independent and artist-run presses. It’s a site where readers can experience by hand, limited edition, handmade and innovative projects not widely found in traditional bookstores or galleries. Curated and focused, the program encourages visitors to spend time reading and exploring these selections. An archive of rare contemporary books and prints may be accessed by appointment.
